About Y. Vestis

What began as a means of survival and acquiring affordable attire became a passion for craftsmanship and sustainability. After decades of thrifting, upcycling, and making bespoke apparel, owner Yashira Rivera decided to rekindle her love for fashion and in October 2022, Y. Vestis was born. One could say that Y. Vestis has been in the making for over 20 years.

"Thrifting was non-negotiable in my younger years due to financial insecurity. After graduating with my degree in Fashion Design, I realized that I craved the uniqueness and quality of vintage apparel. Not to mention, mass-produced garments tend to be overpriced, poor in quality, and is detrimental to the environment."

Y. Vestis is Latina-owned and operated with the conscientious for Mother Earth on top of mind. Every item is handpicked and consist of dramatic details, vibrant colors, unique textiles, and unusual prints. Whether it is for an important business meeting or a night out on the town, Y.
